What is the best way to describe the effects of Marma Therapy, to attract clients?
A couple of days ago I asked some Marma therapist friends to tell me about their experiences giving Marma treatments. One of them wrote back asking what kind of experiences – physical or spiritual? This made me think: what is the best way to describe Marma Therapy in order to attract potential clients
There are wonderful physical outcomes – people with painful backs who come out a treatment room walking comfortably rather than hobbling are very pleased. As are people with various joint pains – neck, shoulder, knee, ankle – when their pains subside or disappear. The same goes for headaches, blocked sinuses, tired eyes and many other conditions.
But then there are mental effects. One businessman I treated in America told me I should be charging $3-4,000 per treatment. He had found that his mind was extraordinarily clear after a treatment, and some brilliant business ideas had come to him that, in his opinion, were worth millions.
Many people have spoken of the ‘transformational’ effect of Marma treatments, as mind fog lifted and the way forward in life became clearer.
Then there are emotional releases – sometimes deep emotional experiences are resolved. One therapist told me about giving treatments to a lady with insomnia due to emotional family problems at home – after a treatment the insomnia is gone.
And the deeper – spiritual – experiences? During treatments, people settle down physically and mentally. As thoughts settle down, the experience is one of coming back home, to a deeper Self. Very often this is accompanied by a feeling of ‘bliss’.
So how should the effects of Marma Therapy be best described? I would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you.

PS When I asked this question on Facebook recently, one person replied: ‘For me it is a time for my body to totally reconnect… life is so stressful that our inner part become so disjointed. The time spent having a treatment is almost like a rebirthing.’
